Job description

The goal is to support Spentys team in software development. Spentys is focus on offering an online platform, accessible by the Spentys team and the medical professionals, to create custom-made orthoses and prostheses. Inside its solution, Spentys offers an iPad based modelling application that has the purpose of replicating a given product easily and quickly. The role of the candidate is to join the development team of Spentys 3d modelling interface and take in charge the tasks assigned by the team Manager. The job involves the creation and maintenance of computational geometry algorithms to solve the challenges involved in our application, which are mainly focused on 3d mesh manipulation and generation.

Job requirements

Required Technical Background and Skills

  • Master’s Degree in Computer Science/ Mathematics/Engineering or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 2 years of work or research experience in software development
  • Strong background in C++ programming and mathematics
  • Proficiency in designing and developing tailor-made computational geometry algorithms fitting specific needs, using explicit and implicit methods
  • Experience with developing algorithms for mesh manipulation and procedural/parametric geometry generation
  • Proficiency with C#
  • Familiarity with Unity is a plus


Required General Skills

  • Experience in working with Git branches on a project with many contributors
  • Language: writing and verbal skills English
